Mavinty is an AI endurance coach built by an amateur 3× IRONMAN finisher with AWA Silver 2020 who got a 2021 Kona slot he never raced. It plans a half marathon, a marathon, a 70.3 or a full IRONMAN from the same engine — 4 races. 14 months. Public record: MK Half · Dec 2026 → MK Marathon · May 2027 → Poznań 70.3 · Aug 2027 → Barcelona 140.6 · Oct 2027. Reads your morning HRV. Pushes structured workouts to your watch. Adapts when life happens.
I built this for myself first. Then I realized other amateurs need it too.
After Bolton 2021 I got a Kona slot through rolldown. The email is still in my inbox — Aug 2, 2021. I never made the start line. L4-L5 disc protrusion. Five years of trying to come back, gaining 10kg, watching fitness disappear.
Real coaches charge £200-400/month and check in twice a week. Training apps gave me charts but not decisions. Plan generators didn't know about my back.
So I built Mavinty for myself. An AI that reads my morning HRV, knows about the injury, knows I can't ramp like I used to, and tells me exactly what to do today.
I'm an amateur. I have a job. I train at 5am. I bonk sometimes. I miss workouts when family stuff happens. Mavinty was built understanding all that — because I'm the user.
4 races. 14 months. One system. Dec 6, 2026 — Milton Keynes Winter Half Marathon. May 3, 2027 — MK Marathon. Aug 30, 2027 — IRONMAN 70.3 Poznań. Oct 3, 2027 — IRONMAN Barcelona, full 140.6, first in 6 years. Four races across three disciplines, one plan. Race report within 7 days of each finish. If I bonk or DNF, that gets published too.
The AI builds your whole season from your race calendar — half marathon, marathon, trail, 70.3 or full distance — then reworks it when the calendar changes. Workouts pushed to your watch. PMC tracking.
Photo a meal. AI macros. Recovery-aware targets. Race-week carb load 5 days out.
HRV, sleep, RHR, body battery. Hourly sync. Recovery score 0-100. 28-day baselines.
Race-weight tracking. Asymmetry detection. Tanita / Garmin / Withings.
Daily injury check-ins. Plan modifies when pain elevates. McGill Big Three reminders.
This isn't an app for someone learning what TSS means. Most of these fit you:
Finished at least one endurance event
Wear a sports watch (Garmin / Wahoo / Coros / Polar / Suunto)
Comfortable with TSS, FTP, training zones
Have a race on the calendar (or planning one)
Want morning data analysis, not weekly summaries
Most check? Keep reading. Starting from scratch? Find a human coach for season 1, come back for season 2.
Mavinty connects through intervals.icu — same setup serious endurance athletes already use. Free, no extra subscription. Whatever you wore at your last race works here.
It checks what you actually did against what was planned. Close enough, and it details the coming seven days. Far enough off — two ragged weeks, fitness drifting, pain reported — and it rebuilds the rest of the season before writing the week.
Garmin (Edge, Forerunner, Fenix), Wahoo Elemnt/Roam, Coros, Polar Vantage. Indoor sessions → Zwift, Rouvy, TrainerRoad.
Audio cues, vibration alerts, target zones on screen. No phone. No PDF. No memorizing.
I'm using Mavinty as my only coach for a 14-month return to racing — running first, then back to long-course triathlon. Race reports for each will be published within 7 days of crossing the finish line. If I bonk, DNF, or miss — that gets published too.
AI-built season plans for any race type, autonomous Sunday review, daily coach check, workouts pushed to your watch, photo meal logging, recovery-aware nutrition, body composition, 10-language app and coach output.
